The higher figure on Private buys the arrangement rather than features: a dedicated instance with your own project, your own server, and your own database, storage described as unlimited, requested features arriving sooner than on the shared roadmap, and eligibility for the custom development service.

Neither of these is part of a plan price, and neither is required in order to buy a plan.

Done-for-you migration

Service. One-time work, quoted per job.

Starts at $500, quoted per job, with no cap. We study the data before quoting: a small dataset is quoted near the floor, and years of accumulated history are quoted like the larger project they are.
The self-serve importers are free on every plan, for customers who prefer to do it themselves.
A customer who bought migration is not billed until migration is complete, and has no access to the product while it is in progress. On Essential and Private the thirty day walk-away window also starts when migration completes. On Custom the equivalent term is set in the quote.
The migration charge pays for work already performed and is never refunded. This is said before purchase, never after.

Custom development

Service. One-time work, quoted per project at services rates.

Quoted per project at services rates. There is no published rate card, and no price is given before the work is scoped.
Requires a dedicated instance, which means Private or Custom. Not available on Essential, at any price.
Bug fixes are free, for everyone, and are never quoted as custom work.

What you are committing to

Every term that changes what you pay or when. Nothing about money is discovered after this page.

Billing basis: Monthly is the default and you choose the basis. Annual billing is 25 percent off the monthly total, which means nine monthly payments cover twelve months.
Thirty day walk-away: On Essential and Private. A monthly customer who leaves within 30 days is not charged again, and the first month already paid is not refunded. An annual customer is refunded the prepayment minus one month at the monthly rate: on Essential that is $632 returned in founder-run, $1,192 in delegated, and $1,832 in ops-led, and on Private it is $1,592, $3,000, and $4,600 in those same three bands. On either basis, walking away costs exactly one month at the monthly rate.
What is never refunded: The $500 Private deployment charge and the migration charge pay for work already performed and are never refunded, including inside the thirty day window. This is said before purchase, never after.
When billing starts: If you bought the migration service, subscription billing starts when migration is complete. You have no access to the product while migration is in progress.
What you get if you leave: A full export of your data in CSV, PDF, and JSON.
Custom terms: Terms are set in the quote. The walk-away window, billing basis, annual discount, and setup charge that Essential and Private publish do not carry over to Custom, because those are written against a published monthly rate and Custom has none.
