Expense tracking that requires the receipt
Expense Tracker is the ROIkeep application that records company spending: a voucher cannot be saved without a receipt attached, with amounts in PKR, USD, or both at a live exchange rate. It is not accounting or bookkeeping.

Vouchers
A voucher is one expense entry, and it cannot be saved without a receipt attached.
Every rupee and dollar spent has a receipt behind it, by construction.
- A voucher captures title, amount, payment method (Transfer, Cash, Card, ATM, Cheque), category, optional subcategory, filed date, and notes.
- A back-dated entry stores its picked date timezone-safe.
- Each category lists its vouchers in a table with sorting, pagination, and filters by text, currency, subcategory, payment method, and date range.

What Expense Tracker is
Expense Tracker is expense tracking with required receipts, in PKR and USD, with at most six categories. It is not accounting, bookkeeping, invoicing, or bank integration.

Required receipts
Proof of spend, required on every voucher: without at least one receipt, the voucher cannot be saved.
Nobody chases receipts after the fact: the record cannot exist without its proof.
- Each voucher carries one to three receipts, and at least one is required before it saves.
- Receipts upload as JPEG, PNG, WebP, or PDF up to 3 MB each; images are compressed on the client.
- Receipts can be reordered, and one is marked primary.
- Each receipt is served through a short-lived signed URL, minted per view.
- The person filing the voucher enters the amounts; a receipt attaches as proof, and nothing is read from the image automatically.
- A saved voucher opens in a full-screen viewer, its receipts on one side and the voucher details on the other.
No receipt, no save
Every field is filled and the receipt slot is empty, so the voucher does not save.

Categories
The buckets vouchers are filed under, and the unit of member access.
The six-category cap is a discipline: spend files into a structure small enough to read on one dashboard.
- At most six categories, each with up to 20 subcategories, one level deep.
- Each category names which members can see it.
- A category can require an email on its vouchers.
- Deleting a category reassigns its vouchers to General Expenses and revokes member access.

Currency
Every amount is dual-currency: PKR, USD, or both, across the whole application.
A company that spends in rupees and dollars reads its spending in either, or both, without keeping two books.
- Amounts enter and store in PKR, USD, or both.
- A display preference (PKR, USD, or both) applies everywhere.
- A top-bar converter turns PKR into USD and back at the live rate.
- The rate source shows green for live and amber for the static fallback.

Dashboard
The spend picture, scoped to what each person is allowed to see.
What the company spent, where, and lately, read in one screen.
- Four KPIs: total spend, last 30 days, average voucher, and top category.
- Each voucher is counted once, with the other currency converted at the live rate.
- Period filters run from 7 days to all time, plus a single-category filter.
- An Overview view carries the charts; a dense Metrics view carries KPIs only.

Access and oversight
Who can use the workspace, what each person sees, and how an admin checks it.
Spend visibility is set per category and checkable per person, and leaving the company ends access without anyone remembering to do it here.
- Members see only their assigned categories; admins and the owner see everything.
- View as member shows the app exactly as a specific member sees it, with a persistent banner and a one-click stop.
- Starting or stopping a view-as session is recorded.
- Access ends automatically when the hub sends an access-revoked event.

Members come from the hub
The members page is a read-only roster of names, emails, and roles. People are invited and managed in the hub and arrive here over single sign-on; there is no member management inside Expense Tracker.
How access works in the hubExpense Tracker signs in through the hub, beside Command and Control and Lead Central.
It is not a separately sold module: every plan ships all four applications.
